Having bought a holiday home in the South of France (Var region) I needed an small automatic left hand drive car, in which my wife would feel comfortable driving on the steep hills in the area.

I started looking (January 05) in the UK,for a second hand LHD, but found that the dealers in this country simply weren't interested in anything below a Mercedes or 4 wheel monster. It seemed an insult to them to ask for a 'mini' car!

I then found on the internet, a number of 'Brit' dealers operating in France. When asked why they were quoting some 25% more than UK second hand prices, they lost interest in me very quickly!

I am aware that Mr D Turnbull faced a number of problems (none of his making) and did all in his power to sort matters out. The car was delivered to my address in central London from where I had a comfortable drive down to the South of France.

The vehicle was precisely to the requested specification and was delivered in perfect condition on the promised day within only one month of the order being confirmed.
